Drooling while sleeping

Drooling while sleeping is one of the most common signs of blood clots in people, especially those with older adults in their homes. If you find that the elderly often drool while sleeping, and the drooling direction is almost the same, then you should pay attention to this phenomenon, because the elderly may have a blood clot.

The reason why people with blood clots drool during sleep is because the blood clots cause some muscles in the throat to malfunction.

sudden syncope

The phenomenon of syncope is also a relatively common condition in patients with thrombosis. This phenomenon of syncope usually occurs when getting up in the morning. If the patient with thrombosis is also accompanied by high blood pressure, this phenomenon is more obvious.

Depending on the physical condition of each person, the number of syncope occurs every day is also different, for those patients who suddenly have syncope phenomenon, and syncope several times a day, must be alert to whether they have developed a blood clot.

Chest tightness

In the early stage of thrombosis, chest tightness often occurs, especially for those who do not exercise for a long time, coagulation of blood clots is very easy to form in the blood vessels. There is a risk of falling, and as blood flows into the lungs, the patient experiences chest tightness and pain.

Chest pain

In addition to heart disease, chest pain may also be a manifestation of pulmonary embolism. The symptoms of a pulmonary embolism are very similar to those of a heart attack, but the pain of a pulmonary embolism is usually stabbing or sharp, and is worse when you take a deep breath, Dr. Navarro said.

The biggest difference between the two is that the pain of a pulmonary embolism worsens with each breath; the pain of a heart attack has little to do with breathing.

Cold and sore feet

There is a problem with the blood vessels, and the feet are the first to feel. At the beginning, there are two feelings: the first is that the legs are a bit cold; the second is that if the walking distance is relatively long, one side of the leg is prone to fatigue and soreness.

Swelling of the limbs

Swelling of the legs or arms is one of the most common symptoms of deep vein thrombosis. Blood clots block blood flow in the arms and legs, and when blood collects in the clot, it can cause swelling.

If there is temporary swelling of the limb, especially when one side of the body is painful, be alert to deep vein thrombosis and go to the hospital for examination immediately.
